Shelter for the Stray is a no-kill, free range, shelter that houses over 1500 dogs and due to the COVID pandemic is receiving more everyday. They are in desperate need to finish the construction for their on-site medical clinic.
It is already part way there! The newly built Territorio De Zaguates Clinic will provide: continued spay, neutering, & vaccination services to every animal that is brought into the rescue spay & neutering services to the local community who cannot afford to pay for this service for their animal on-site veterinary help for the 1500+ dogs eventually expanding the clinic with more treatments & services such as X-rays, ultrasounds & more. Anything and everything helps!
Inspired by the life of our recently departed best friend, and the third piece of our whole: Max. He was our silent furry Buddha, and he truly not only saved our lives, but also was the glue that held everything together in our journey over the last nine years.
We wanted to do something in his name that would carry forward his impact on our lives to other dogs in need, so we decided to make a donation to Territorio De Zeguates (Shelter for the Stray). Then we realized, maybe there are others who feel the same about their beloved companions too. And maybe they too might want to help Emma and her 1500+ dogs build the on-site clinic that they desperately need. So we started this campaign.
